In academics, research is a challenge for a new field or experienced area of study.  Yet, research and development should have the essential choice of systematic study to enhance knowledge and application thereof as well as experimental development. The contributors of this book are academicians and researchers from different countries and from diverse areas of study.

Dr. Achut Pundalik Pednekar in his chapter titled The Gig Economy: HR Challenges and Opportunities nicely mentioned about the how the gig economy, defined by temporary and flexible jobs enabled by digital platforms, has revolutionized conventional employment, offering autonomy and diverse work arrangements.

Partho Protim Roy in his chapter titled Soft Power in the Digital Age discussed about the concept of soft power in the digital age and focuses on its facets of how the states manoeuvre it in shaping the behaviour, preferences and predispose individuals along with the state and non-state actors to behave or be inclined in a way that the other wants.

Koushik Barman in his chapter Discussion of The G7 and G20 in Comparison: The Growth of Global Politics discussed about the G20 and G7 are two of the world’s most powerful groups, bringing together leaders from the world’s top economies to address issues such as global economic growth, trade, and political stability.  The paper tries to explain the formation of the G20 and G7 and their impact on world politics.

Khawaja M. Munawar Khan, Dr. M. Irfan Wahid, Dr. M. Iqbal Khan, Dr. Tariq Mahmood in his chapter Need of Women’s Education & their Status in Household Management discussed the investigates about women, their status in ancient societies and modern societies are elaborated regarding esteem and humiliation. The fact is that the role of women remained crucial in every society regarding household activities and increasing generations.

Upasana Gohain in her chapter The Comprehensive Fintech Chronicle: From Historical Roots and Challenges to Regulation, Adoption, and Climate Change Mitigation discussed about the revolutionary developments brought about by fintechs require constant monitoring and review (Reserve Bank of India, 2020). Fintechs should bridge the digital divide and encourage fair, widespread consumer engagement in both urban and rural regions, as well as across different producing and consuming sectors.

Abdulmajeed in his chapter Effect of Oil Revenue on Infrastructural Financing in Nigeria: A Long-Run Analysis discussed about the infrastructural development and key developmental activities in a country Nigeria and sources of financing the infrastructures in a country. This chapter examines the effect of oil revenue sources in the financing of infrastructures in Nigeria covering a period from 1981 to 2021. How, oil revenue, non-oil revenue, inflation rate and interest rate were regressed against capital expenditure as a measure of infrastructure financing in line with the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) modelling technique.

Vaidehi Ranjeet Vengurlekar in her chapter Dynamics of Power and Wealth: Unraveling the Complex Interplay between Politics and Economics discussed about the comprehensive overview of political economy, integrating insights from political science and economics to elucidate the complex interdependencies between political institutions, economic policies, global dynamics, development challenges, and societal outcomes.  

Dr. Kapilendra Das in his chapter Annapurna Bai: An Unsung Woman Freedom Fighter of Khariar Estate discussed about the India's freedom struggle, contributions made by women freedom fighters in India. India’s long history of courageous women from all walks of life who have fought for freedom, justice, and equality. On the clarion call of Mahatma Gandhi, the national movement witnessed the mass participation of women in the freedom struggle of India.

Naveed Ul Hasan in his chapter The Political Cost of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Pakistan-India Relations discussed about the initiative of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and how CPEC has had major geopolitical and economic ramifications since its establishment. Analyzing how this major infrastructural and economic project has affected diplomatic, strategic, and security dynamics between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, this chapter examines the political costs of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Pakistan-India ties.

Jhilike Saha in her chapter Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and The New World Order: Shifting Power Dynamics in Global Politics discussed how the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) represents a significant shift in global power dynamics, challenging the traditional Western-dominated world order. Established in 2001, the SCO initially focused on regional security and economic cooperation among its founding members—China, Russia, and Central Asian states.

Arijit Chakraborty in his chapter Public Policies for Population Control and their Correlation with Educational Interventions and Sustainable Development Goals discussed how education is the most crucial tool for achieving sustainable development, as it enables people to deeply understand the importance of sustainability. Without a robust educational framework, society cannot pursue long-term development goals.

Dr. Priyanshi Gupta in her chapter The Evolving Global Landscape: Power Shifts and The New Economic Trade World how the global economic and political landscape is undergoing profound shifts, driven by changes in power dynamics and the emergence of new economic trade paradigms. Traditionally dominated by Western powers, the global order is now increasingly influenced by the rise of emerging economies, particularly in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
